A top-mounted depth knob on the Porter-Cable 6-Amp hand planer has 10 positive steps to allow for superior depth control settings while you’re working. Customize and create elegant chamfer edges with three chamfering grooves. The Porter-Cable hand planer has an 11.5-inch cast-aluminum shoe for premium durability and better results. A 5/64-inch depth of cut removes material faster, and the 0.47-inch rabbit depth makes each pass more efficient.
