They have welded spring steel and high-speed steel construction, which produces a blade that is shatterproof and stays sharp up to three as long as traditional carbon steel blades. Irwin Bi-Metal utility knife blades fit all Irwin utility knives as well as most knives from other manufacturers. They have two notches that allow blade length adjustments. The included dispenser holds unused blades securely and comfortably fits in any toolbox.
